I ant believe that you approve of marking trees with paint. I have walked in forests in parks and national parks and never found trees marred by identification marks. There is, in botanical gardens a small informative label next to a tree to give us its genus etc and may have a number , but nothing is ever done to mar the beauty of the tree. Please desist from doing this.
