Planting at BDP

Aravalli Biodiversity Park was a mining site and a dumping ground. Over the last 3 years, the park has been planted with more than 100 species of native Aravalli plants. These have either being extinct from this (Gurgaon and Delhi) region or are severly endangered.

This year alone about 13000 saplings were planted, which were sponsored by SABIC, Geetika Jain, Maruti, Walmart, Bata, PWC, ERM, Sentiss, Coke, Genpact, Blackrock, KPMG, Dunnhumby, COWI, Anya, Fidelity, Tricolite and Mizuho. Many Private and NGO schools took part in the planting of the sapling, including enthusiastic participants from Vishwas School.
